2/19/2023 0 Comments Swish house![]() ![]() I was such a hot pot novice when I came here for the first time two years back for their "quick serve" lunch. It was hard to get their attention or they were nowhere to be found.Īlso there is a 18% service charge for parties with more than 4 people so this place is suited more for smaller groups otherwise you're going to be waiting much longer. It was our first time here but there was no explanation of the menu and the servers kept giving us attitude. There's a good selection of meats and veggies and they also came out pretty fast. While their milk teas are nothing special, it was still nice to have that option. I also like how appetizers and bubble tea are included with the AYCE price, which is why it is one of the better options for hot pot in the city. Good flavors and with a such a wide variety of broths, there's something to satisfy everyone. I was able to try the Tom Yum, house special onion, pork bone, and szechuan spicy. The best thing about Swish Swish is the various broth flavors you can get, even if it costs few extra dollars. I personally felt like the $35 AYCE wagyu meat wasn't worth it since I'm not a big meat person to begin with so next time I would just go for the $25 per person for AYCE shabu. But if you want the full experience of getting your own hotpot then it's better to come here with 4 or less people. I came with 5, so two people had to share an individual hot pot which was fine. This won't be my last visit here!Ĭame here on a Sunday night for dinner and had to wait 40 minutes for a table. So this was definitely worth it for the variety of options. The price may seem a little steep for what you eat, but if I had ordered everything I ate a la carte, it would have definitely cost way more. Also, if you ask for more broth, you'll just receive a standard base broth (I think it's chicken broth), not an actual refill of whatever broth you originally ordered. So.pace yourself and don't over-order on the first round if you don't think you can finish everything. You also need to finish most or all of what you ordered before a waitress/waiter will come around and offer you the menu you again to order more. Something to note with the all you can eat is that you have a 1.5 hour time limit. (The only thing that wasn't was the Chinese fried donuts.don't bother with these, they were stale and not worth the calories.) ![]() We were pretty excited and probably way over-ordered, but almost everything was delicious. We ordered an assortment of meats (pork belly, beef), tofus, vegetables (lettuce, bok choy, spinach, lotus root), appetizers (karaage, gyoza, Chinese fried donuts), dumplings, and noodles (udon, glass noodles). She paid extra to have the Szechuan spicy broth, while I chose the house special onion broth. My friend and I ordered the all you can eat (non Wagyu beef) option. I'm sure part of it had to do with the fact that it was a chilly winter night, but people were definitely enjoying their hot pot. Every booth and chair at the counter was filled, and there was a waiting list. I came here on a Wednesday night and the place was packed. ![]()
